Festival Preview - Bloodstock 2014 New Blood Stage

The final day of our Bloodstock Previews and we end with the New Blood Stage, a stage filled to bursting with truck loads of unsigned talent - the majority of which will have battled their way through heats to win their valuable spot.

Although few and far between, the New Blood Stage will be welcoming a small selection of unsigned ladies. Here is a quick look through:


Jackknife Seizure

Hailing from London, progressive metallers Jackknife Seizure perform dynamic riffs, pounding drums and melodic hooks creating an incredible live musical experience.  Yet to release their debut EP (although it is coming soon), this band are at the beginning of what is shaping up to be a long and successful musical journey.


Relatively new on the scene, Metaprism are a progressive metal band from Bournemouth who capture the pure energy of metal with harsh male and melodic female vocals.  The band have released an EP and plans are afoot for a debut album.  These guys have had the honour of supporting a number of great bands including the awesome Evil Scarecrow and their New Blood performance this year is looking to be pretty sharp.  


Unforeseen Prophecy

Formed in 2010, Unforeseen Prophecy have been causing in a waves in their local metal core scene. Brandishing dual guitars and occasional female vocals this Kent based band are an assault on your eardrums. They have released a debut EP and are making plans to release a debut album too. This band are sure to bring it on the New Blood Stage.
