Rainover - Transcending The Blue and Drifting into Rebirth (2014)

Spanish Gothic metallers, Rainover, released their album Transcending the Blue and Drifting into Rebirth earlier this year.  The band, originally called  Remembrances formed in 2011 after the break up of the original band and are made up of Andrea Casanova on vocals, Anthon Lo on guitars, Arturo Hernández on keyboards, Antonio Perea on bass and vocals and Quini Pelegrín on drums.
Rainover's music is atmospheric with haunting vocals and edgy growls.  Their album Transcending the Blue and Drifting into Rebirth is filled with gothic and hard rock sounds, with beauty and melody a plenty and some pretty catchy hooks throughout!

There are 11 tracks on the album:

Rebirth
Despair
Cycles
Rain Over My Tears
H2SO4
Oh, My Cross!!
An Ocean Between Us
Dust and Dawn
Hopeless
In Free Fall
Remembrances

Check out the official lyrics video for Cycles, taken from the album.  It has a very progressive rock feel to it and is incredibly catchy!

Great news for us here in the UK is that Rainover have been announced to perform at this years Quinphonic Festival in Birmingham on Saunday 5th April,  They will play alongside Temperance, Seventh Sin, Divided We Fall and Rose Avalon.  This will be the first time Rainover have performed in the UK and looks to be a great afternoon and evening of symphonic and gothic metal.

Follow the band on:
