New Release: The Way I Am - Apocalypse? No Way (November 2014)

The Way I Am are a French alternative metal/rock band with intense and accessible music along with bespoke trademark imagery. Their compositions are a blend of British Rock ( Muse, Radiohead), American Alternative Metal (Deftones, Korn, Flyleaf) and movie music (Jerry Goldsmith, James Horner). The band recently signed to Klonosphere label and their new EP Apocalypse? No Way is to be distributed by Season of Mist.

Lead vocalist Saturne, talked to Femetalism about the band and the new EP recently in our interview. Here she talked about why they chose the beautiful artwork for the release and why there is no black, but instead pink flowers and a bloody heart.  She explained that the lyrics on the EP were about lack of self-confidence, loneliness and betrayal but with positivity and light throughout. How the band are full of contrasting ideas and imagery.

As promised, here is a quick look at the release.

The EP features 6 tracks and some beautiful artwork created by Saturne herself:

  1. Underground Memories
  2. No Means No
  3. Miss Anger
  4. Shine Bright
  5. Run Faster
  6. Answer My Call
