2014. A year in summary

This year Femetalism was privileged to meet and connect with loads of fantastic artists and devoted music fans.  We were able to spread the female metal music scene far and wide, connecting fans with bands and vice versa.  We have been able to build a platform from which people can learn more about women in metal as well as more about the underground metal music that exists everywhere. We also made a lot of wonderful new friends! It has been an incredible year and one that we hope we can grow from in 2015.

In 2014 Femetalism had:

50,000 Website Hits

72 New Release Posts

32 Interviews

5 Associates

1 Radio Interview

So what's happening in 2015?

Much of the same to be honest, with a little extra sprinkled on for good measure.  Meeting, interviewing and promoting as much music and as many female metal artists as we can alongside: going to 5 metal music festivals, sponsoring 2 local metal music events, releasing of our first promotional compilation album and as much more as we can possibly manage.

Femetalism is something powerful and something special and we love it.  We are so grateful for the love and support we have received in 2014 and we look forward to continued support, collaboration and fun times in 2015! We are just 2 music fans sharing what we love with as many people as will listen.  Thank you for making this task one of the most rewarding, most enjoyable and most special things we could imagine.

We already have some great interviews to share with you over the next few weeks and we have also had some great albums submitted for us to feature - we can't wait to get started!

Hope to see you out and about in 2015, share a beer and enjoy some pretty epic metal music. \m/
